A LNG supply solution available to all ship owners in Quebec

With the inauguration of the M/T Damia Desgagnés, the very first Groupe Desgagnés vessel that can be fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG), Gaz Métro and the Montreal Port Authority have announced that an LNG supply solution will now be available at the port. The LNG marine fuel system will be available to all ship owners in Quebec whose fleets pass through the Port of Montreal.
Gaz Métro and the Port of Montréal hope this LNG supply solution will be a first step toward encouraging ship owners to follow Groupe Desgagnés’ lead and move toward this efficient, cost-effective and clean option.
