Norcan and Valport become Green Marine members

The NORCAN Petroleum Group, a major consortium which imports petroleum products (and which counts Pétro-T as one of its participants) recently became a member of Green Marine by undertaking to continuously evaluate and improve its environmental performance. Located in the Port of Montreal, NORCAN owns an independent marine terminal that imports petroleum products supplying independent service stations and heating oil distributors throughout Quebec, eastern Ontario and the northeastern U.S.

For its part, VALPORT has 41 years experience in the transportation of goods, particulary in the area of Arctic re-supply. VALPORT‘s current role is to manage and oversee operations at the Port of Valleyfield, which is a major distribution hub serving the eastern seabord. With nearly 20 acres of staging room and 5 acres of warehouse storage, as well as trans-shipment and crating facilities and dedicated customer marshalling areas, VALPORT offers all the services of a large port while maintaining the practicality of a small port.
